Nuts & Bolts Training: Chafee Program
Have you ever wondered what Chafee Services are or how to access them for our older youth? Maybe you've heard of the program and are curious about what CASA does versus what Chafee does. Chafee Foster Care Program for Successful Transition to Adulthood is a federal program for youth in foster care ages 14 and older.
CASA Volunteers who want to learn more about the Chafee Program and the services they provide are invited to join Jackson County CASA for a Nuts and Bolts Training on Wednesday, February 8, from 12 - 1 p.m. This training will be led by CASA Older Youth Specialist Kandi Bond and will be held in the Older Youth Space of the CASA Office (2544 Holmes, KCMO 64108). If you're not able to attend in person, you can join virtually through the Zoom. Please contact Volunteer Program Specialist Kara Strickler (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the link.
