Carnival for CASA

Carnival for CASA is a fundraiser for Jackson County CASA, held at Paradise Park in Lee’s Summit. Paradise Park’s family entertainment center offers “interactive learning through discovery and play” in the Edutainment Center for children 9 and under. Other activities include a game room, bumper cars, foam factory, miniature golf, go carts, rock climbing wall, and the new maze. Also there will be featured entertainment including: special music performances, a balloon artist, cotton candy and popcorn, face painting, bounce houses and much, much more!

Purchasing tickets to attend the Carnival or sponsoring the event is a great way to support the children in need in your community. A $1,000 donation provides a CASA advocate for an abused and neglected child for one year, and every dollar counts.

We hope you will  join us for this fun-filled day of festivities at the “Carnival for CASA”.

For questions about becoming a sponsor, please contact Lara Klover at 816-785-4097, for questions in regard to purchasing tickets online, please contact Michelle Morse at 816-842-2272 ext.220.

What: CASA to CASA: "Biking together to End Abuse" fundraiser will be a 300 mile ride in 3 days

Where: They will be biking from the Jackson County CASA office to the Tulsa Office

When: This Labor Day Weekend (September 6th, 2010)

Why: The purpose of the bike trip is to raise awareness and financial support for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children.

How: As a fundraiser, we will be looking for both big and little sponsors/donors who will help fund the trip and raise money for CASA:

WHY WE CHOSE CASA...

Our mission statement is simple. Children are a precious gift and sadly enough, so many are neglected and abused every day. Our team of riders chose CASA because they offer a real answer for this problem. Every day, men and women, volunteer their time and energy to stand up for a child in court, to give them a voice. Hundreds and thousands of children have been served and placed in safe and healthy homes through the work of CASA volunteers.

Through this epic 300 mile bike ride in 3 days, it is our goal to raise money for CASA, we do hope to raise awareness in Kansas City, Tulsa and hopefully America about CASA, but more importantly we hope to inspire. We hope to inspire the men and women CASA Case workers who sacrifice and volunteer their time and energy to make a lasting impression and difference in a child's life, and that we appreciate what they are doing. We want to encourage their work. We hope to inspire the employees of CASA and most importantly we hope to inspire every child who is abused and neglected and needs a home, to let them know that we hear their cry, that they are heard and that there is hope.

WE ARE DOING THIS RIDE FOR THEM.

Sincerely,
Nick Wagoner
